Delete my data
You can ask us at any time to delete the personal data Axum holds about you. It is your right under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the GDPR. There is one simple way to do it: send us an email.

Send a message to support@axumworks.com asking us to delete your data. The button below opens your email app with the subject filled in.

To help us find and verify your data quickly, please tell us:
- Your name.
- The email address or phone number your data is associated with (send from that email if you can — it helps us confirm it’s you).
- The company you’re connected to, if you dealt with us through a business that uses Axum.
- Whether you want everything deleted, or only specific data.
02What happens next
- We confirm we’ve received your request, usually within a couple of business days.
- We verify your identity to make sure we don’t delete someone else’s data by mistake.
- We delete the personal data we hold about you and ask our providers to delete it. We aim to finish within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep something (for example, records needed for tax or accounting).
- We email you to confirm once it’s done.
03If a business connected your data
If your data reached Axum because a business you buy from or sell to uses us, that business is the data controller. For example, you may be listed as one of their distributors or customers. We process the data on their behalf, so we act on their instruction. Email us anyway. We will forward your request to them and help them act on it.
04WhatsApp & messaging
If you interacted with an Axum agent over WhatsApp, you can ask us to delete the messages, media and phone number we processed. Just mention WhatsApp in your email.
