Read the Graph

The Graph shows one item and the things that connect to it. It does not show the whole network at once. Axum builds it from invoiced sales and from anomaly causes your team has validated.

  1. Sign in at the console sign-in page.
  2. Open Graph in the sidebar.
  3. Choose a center: an anomaly, a product, a customer, or a factor.
  • Anomaly — the product it changed, validated causes, buyers of that product, and earlier anomalies that looked the same.
  • Product — customers who buy it, sized by revenue, and the anomalies that changed its sales.
  • Customer — other customers who buy a similar mix of products.
  • Factor — products whose validated causes match that factor, and the revenue each cause puts at risk.

Line thickness shows how strong a connection is. For a purchase, it shows revenue. For two customers, it shows how similar their purchases are.

Common links:

  • An anomaly affects a product’s sales.
  • A validated cause caused an anomaly.
  • A customer buys a product.
  • Two customers are similar when they buy a similar mix.
  • An earlier anomaly was seen before on the same product with a matching cause.
  • A factor exposes revenue at risk.
  • Start from an anomaly you just reviewed. The graph then shows the cause you added.
  • If the picture looks empty, check that sales are connected and that someone has validated at least one anomaly.
