Check your WhatsApp number in Axum

WhatsApp carries receipts and updates into Axum. Axum uses one shared WhatsApp Business number for all organizations. Meta holds the number. The console shows the number but does not set it up.

  1. Sign in to the console.
  2. Open Settings, then select the Integrations tab.
  3. Find the WhatsApp card. When Axum has a number, the card shows Number. It can also show Verified name and Quality rating.

Axum keeps these details for up to six hours. If Meta changes them, the card can show the old details until then.

Axum reads a message only from a number on its list. It ignores a message from any other number, and it does not reply.

  1. Open Accountant in the left rail.
  2. Open the Who can send receipts tab.
  3. Make sure that the number of each person who sends receipts is on the list.
  4. To add a number, find Add a number. Pick the country and type the number. You can add a name.
  5. Choose Add number.

An operator, an admin or an owner can add a number.

If the card says “Axum has no shared WhatsApp number yet.”, contact Axum support. Choose Contact support in the account menu. Support sets up the number with Meta.

  • If the card says Axum could not reach WhatsApp, wait one minute. Then select the refresh button.
  • If a person gets no reply, make sure that their number is in Who can send receipts. See Fix a WhatsApp problem.
  • If messages stop for everyone, contact Axum support.

After WhatsApp works, you can send a receipt to the Accountant.
